There are three manufacturing processes for custom wheels: cast wheels; forged wheels; flow formed wheels. Donfoo mainly use forging technology. We usually choose high-strength aluminum alloy as the raw material and then cut the aluminum alloy bars into different sizes and preheat them in the heating furnace to the blanks . Heat-treat the wheels which form the shape. Put the preliminary wheels into a lathe to the shape and dimensions of the wheel precisely according to the design requirements. Process the center hole and other mounting holes of the wheel hub accurately. Carry out surface treatment on the wheels including precision machining, Surface polishing and Surface coating.Finally, conduct quality control inspection on the wheels such as dimension inspection, strength test, balance test to ensure that the products meet the customers’ requirements.
The final custom forged wheels are widely used in high-performance cars and luxury vehicles with high strength, light weight and excellent mechanical properties.
